Brielle Stephens
The CA Grapettes 18 Clark Coaching Staff is proud to announce the Verbal Commitment of 2017 Catcher and First baseman Brielle Stephens to College of Idaho in Caldwell, Idaho. Brielle has been with the CA Grapettes Clark Team for 6 months. Brielle went on her visit to College of Idaho on September 11th, 2015. When asked why she committed to Coach Al and the College of Idaho she stated " The Campus is beautiful and filled with kind, happy faces. I love the small town feel. I am choosing to play there because of the wonderful things I experienced from the Coaches, Staff & Players during my visit as well as the great academic environment there. Their Program is Fantastic. I can't wait to be a Yote! Congratulations Brielle, from your Team and Coaching Staff !!! Continue your Journey wearing the Purple and Black!
Kayla Kappmeyer
The Parents, Players, Coaches and the entire Grapettes organization are excited to announce that Kayla Kappmeyer from the CA Grapettes – Kappmeyer 18U Team has verbally committed to Portland State University. Kayla is a hard working player with outstanding athleticism, charisma, and leadership who will be a significant asset to this Big Sky program led by Coach Barb Sherwood. Everyone is extremely proud of Kayla and know that she will represent the Grapettes and her family with honor and class. Go Vikings!!
Sydnee Machado
The Parents, Players, Coaches and the entire Grapettes organization are excited to announce that Sydnee Machado from the CA Grapettes – Kappmeyer 18U Team has verbally committed to Portland State University. Sydnee is a hard working player with outstanding athleticism, charisma, and leadership who will be a significant asset to this Big Sky program led by Coach Barb Sherwood. Cheyenne Mahy
Todd Clark is pleased to announce the commitment of CA Grapettes 2017 RHP/IF, Cheyenne Mahy to Texas Womens University. Cheyenne committed to Coach Genny Stidham, June 30, 2016. The Pioneers play in the highly cometitive Lone Star Conference. When asked why she choose Texas Womens University, Cheyenne explained, “I choose Texas Womens University because I felt comfortable with the coaches and the school. The academics at the school is one of the best. The campus and the softball facilities were beautiful and felt like home to me.” Cheyenne choose Texas Womens University over Simpson University, West Liberty University, and Yavapai College.
Hannah Myers
Todd Clark is pleased to announce the commitment of CA Grapettes 18U SS, Hannah Myers to Simpson University. Hannah committed to Coach Wayne Stower, July 10, 2016. The RedHawks are one of the leading teams in their conference. When asked why she chose Simpson Univereity, Hannah explained, "I chose Simpson University because I feel like I can learn and better my play from the coaches. The campus is absolutely gorgeous and felt like it could be home for the next 4 years."
